Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile game Box Stacker ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. We have designed Box Stacker to collect as little personal data as possible.

1. Information stored on your device

The app stores game preferences and progress locally on your device, including your high score, sound and haptic settings, number of plays, and daily reminder preferences. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us, except as described below for the optional global leaderboard.

2. Optional global leaderboard

If the global leaderboard is enabled, the app uses Supabase (a third-party backend service) to let you compare scores with other players. For this feature the app processes:

• A nickname you choose (or an automatically generated one such as "ZenStacker #1234"). You can change this at any time.
• A coarse country indicator derived from your device's time zone or language setting (for example "RO"). This is an approximate regional flag only and is not precise location data and does not use GPS.
• Your game scores and an anonymous player identifier used to associate scores with your nickname.

Sign-in is anonymous: we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials.

3. Advertising

The current version of Box Stacker does not display ads and does not include advertising or tracking SDKs. If advertising is added in a future version, this policy will be updated before that feature is released.

4. Children's privacy

Box Stacker does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only user-provided data is an optional nickname; please do not enter personal information in the nickname field.

5. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored data can be removed by deleting the app or resetting your high score in the app's settings. To request deletion of any leaderboard data associated with your nickname, contact us at the email below.

6. Third-party services

The optional leaderboard is powered by Supabase. The app also loads web fonts from Google Fonts. These providers may process technical request data (such as IP address) as part of delivering their service, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
